pixiecrinkleUgh. Meant to get up super early and go running. Almost did it, but decided to sleep for five more minutes, which led to a dream about trying to convince the Republicans at work to vote against their party. This led to sleeping in late, which then led to me leaving my ID at home, and having to get a temp one to get into the garage/building. I feel like I'm branded with my irresponsibility wearing the generic "Employee" ID. I've worked here over four years, and this is the first time I've ever left my ID at home. Hmmph.
But McSweeney's has goodness this morning, in the form of song essays inspired by Nick Hornby's Songbook. I've only read the Kid A one so far, but I like it. May have to think about contributing something of my own to this one.
Now to work on the Java. Ick. This wasn't in my idea of what "learning jsp" was going to involve. Hmmph.
I'm taking myself out for lunch and the purchase of some fall clothes today. I've not bought any clothing for months, and I've been very good, but now I really am at the point where I'm down to far to make it between laundry-days. Not that I can afford it, after the car battery yesterday, but at least the sales are going on.
