There was a really great mix of costumes last night at B & J's annual party. Everything from Pan and his faerie wife to several girl scouts, Nefertiti and a Mummy, and Napolean Dynamite. I ended up doing the Paris Hilton thing, as it ended up being easiest after the broken hand. Of course, I had to explain several times that the hand was not part of the costume, and was in fact broken in real life.

I got silly and took photos of myself as I did my excessive makeup. What scares me is there are people who do this every day.

(How sad is it that I think this is one of the best pictures in existence of me?) Also note: I was wearing a t-shirt in that photo, which I somehow managed to get off without mussing the wig, with a broken hand. Skills, I tell ya.

I don't currently have a photo of me in my outfit. Forgot to get someone to take one, so I must wait until someone else shares their photos. Here are my creative friends though.

Yeah, I think that one of my best pictures of me is in full drag, which isn't exactly a Christmas card to Grandma kind of thing. Taking pictures of mid-process is a neat idea -- wish I had done that.

I just about felt like I was in drag by the time I was done. I've often joked that if I'm ever in dire need of funds, I can do "double drag," and perform as a woman dresed as a man dressed as a woman. :-)

Please tell me that those are false eyelashes. Otherwise, I hate you. ;-)

Oh, they're way false. :-) I have stubby little things that are constantly falling out due to wearing contacts.

Whew. Good. ;-)

It is a great picture, by the way, but that doesn't mean that you probably don't look great normally. Those of us who do apply a full face of makeup everyday are probably just more insane than those of you who don't. :-)

I do full face makeup once in a while. This was more like "double face" makeup. :-)
