The first 45 I ever owned
Probably one of those readalong record/book sets. Cinderella I think?
1st LP
The soundtrack to Annie.
1st cassette
Got two at the same time, when I got my tonsils out right before fourth grade. Cyndi Lauper's She's So Unusual and Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA.
1st CD
Again, two at the same time. The B-52s Cosmic Thing, and Sinead O'Connor's I Do Not Want What I Have Not Got. Both of which I still own and listen to.
1st mp3 downloaded
Hmmm....not sure. I think the first thing I downloaded on iTunes after I got the iPod was "Black Jack Davey" by The White Stripes

Date: 2004-12-30 04:11 am (UTC)I remember helping a friend gleefully destroy her Debbie Gibson tape way back when. :) I remember saving my allowance to buy my *first* tape in 4th grade. It was the Bangles. Or was it Wham and Duran Duran? One of those three.
I think my first CD was actually INXS X. I didn't break into CDs until ... 1991, when I was a sophomore in high school.

Date: 2004-12-30 02:10 pm (UTC)And I had Kick on cassette--I wish I had it on CD now, because I still think it's a great record of the area. Somewhere, I have one of those 8 foot tall door shaped posters from that too. I did love my Aussie boys. ;-)

Date: 2004-12-30 11:24 pm (UTC)I practically worked myself into hysteria at that show.
Michael Hutchence threw roses into the audience, too. It was Valentine's Day. *swoon*
