Rosedale II is comfy.
Jan. 2nd, 2005 12:42 amI normally lj-cut photos, but I'm just too excited about this.
THE SWEATER IS DONE!!!!

I look like hell, and you can really tell how much I need to clean my bedroom, but the sweater is done!!!! And I even remembered to put on the jewelry I made to go with it before I snapped my pic.
I'm not entirely thrilled with the neckline---it's choking me a bit right now. I don't think I picked up quite enough stitches in the front at first, and then I bound it off so tightly that it wouldn't fit over my head and I had to redo it. But it's done, and it's wearable and most of all, it fits, unlike my prior attempts at garments.
Hooray!!!! On with the new projects.
And oh yeah, all the other crap I'm supposed to be doing this weekend that I've as of yet ignored. oops.

Re: great colors!
Date: 2005-01-02 05:21 pm (UTC)I actually re-read part of the pattern this morning and figured out the neckline. I picked up 11 stitches total along the front, instead of 11 stitches on each side of the front. It totally makes sense given how it feels. I think it may relax a bit on its own, but if it bugs me too much.
I was never this much of a perfectionist before!!
