pixiecrinkleI just started to google to see if I could find references to my knitting blog, to see if anyone was reading it. I found a couple of cool things.
There's my blog's "value" as if it were traded on a stock market. I found this site a while back, but just now noticed that I'm indexed on it. It's kind of a fun concept.
And then I found this. I can't decide if it's weird or cool, but my blog is being used as an example in some sort of web writing class at a university in Minnesota. I'm flattered I think?
Is it wrong that this has now made me feel as if I must produce (more knitting, more writing) because I'm being studied?

I mean, it's a public blog, so it's not like they really need permission, but if it were me, I would feel like I needed to email the bloggers just to say "Hey! Thought you might like to know I'm featuring you in my class."
