I thought I was going to get up this morning and post a happy go lucky comfest/pride summation post. And I will. But right now, I'm figuring out how to say goodbye to an old friend.

I met Todd at a Denny's in 1997, and we were both part of a crew that hung out all that summer. We lost touch, only to reconnect a couple of years ago. We didn't hang out a lot, but when we did it was great.

And I'll never ever forget you leaning over and drawling out "Yer pretty" to my friend D. and I when we met you. And that's how I found you again, yerpretty.

Bye hon. I hope you're hanging out jamming with Jeff Buckley and making mixtapes somewhere warm.
