To anyone who knew yerpretty and (like me) is checking his friends' postings and therefore sees this, I thought I'd let you know that his account is now in "memorial" status. This is the definition from the email I just got from lj support:

Memorial status prevents future entries from the account but allows comments on previous entries. This status also prevents the journal from being deleted in the future for inactivity. Please note that we do not currently delete for inactivity but we may in the future.

This account is now memorial status. Please have the family contact us if they would like this state changed to locked or deleted.

I saw that - I wonder if he even knew how many people cared about him that much?? I hope he did. It's wonderful and terrible all at the same time.

I'm going to calling hours and the service in the morning. This is just so hard.
