Finally...
Aug. 18th, 2005 11:36 pm...we've got the professional digital shots of my sister's wedding available. My computer did not like dealing with the high-res files, so I spent about two hours uploading tonight.
But they are there now!
My faves:
My entire extended family, all in one photo
I think this shot is hilarious, because it's so obvious that the two 18 year olds are the only ones who care to catch the bouquet. The girl with the drink in her hand was a riot, and I think it's funny that she's not even looking.
This is one of the many shots from the weekend where my sister and I are posed identically without even trying. I'll bet if I look hard enough I'll find one of mom and her twin sister the same way.
This is a great one of Amanda The white blob in the background? That's one of the seven other brides getting photos taken in the same park as we were.
We called this one the Reservoir Dogs shot.
My mom loved this shot of my grandparents' hands during the ceremony. The photographer had a really good eye. He apparently used to work for the LA Times.
HA!
I want to crop this one to Amanda and me--I think it's a great shot.
I wish Amanda didn't look goofy in this one -- this was the best of our "Zoolander" shots This is a close second
This one might have worked out if Shannon (the blonde bridesmaid) hadn't chosen that moment to lick my face. :-)
I don't know if it's a filter or youth, but my sister's college friends look positively luminous So do her high school friends
