I'm a web phenom!

I can see the referring links to my knitting blog from the stats package I have on it. Two more widely read knitting blogs have linked to my VW cozy post this week, so I saw a huge traffic spike a couple of days ago.

Then this morning, I noticed a bunch of people coming in from links out of yahoo mail and other web mail, mostly from the UK. Later on, it seems to have hit a Danish newsgroup, because right now, Denmark is far exceeding the US in traffic. Wild.

Right now, I have exactly 100 fewer hits in the month of December to-date than what I got in all of November. Woo!

This is just way too fun to look at.

I don't usually get ultra-funny ones. I've noticed a couple lately on "Surly Girl" because I mentioned the craft fair there, and also a lot on my name since I finally got brave enough to include it. The only really funny one, "Olivia Newton John Let's Get Physical Legwamers" which ended up hitting the post about the legwarmers I made, and how a guy in a coffee shop (what's with me???) started chatting me up about them, but was too young to get the 80s irony.

hahaha, that cracks me up. I still haven't made the legwarmers, I can't imagine what outfit they would look good with.
I think I'm going to start searching for crazy shit and clicking into peoples' blogs so they get retarded stats.

Also fun is looking at a person's entry, then plucking out words to make obnoxious search terms. For example...

I asked him, "Have you seen your mom lately?" He said yeah, they were there last weekend and had some good eats. It sounded like a good time.
