pixiecrinkleI just talked to mom on the phone. She's been substitute teaching and today got to chaperone a field trip with the 5th and 6th graders who went to see Chronicles of Narnia. She came home and told my dad she wanted to rent it on DVD when it comes out, so she can see more of the special effects and costumes. My dad turned his nose up at this idea, to which she responded:
C'mon! There were talking beavers and one of them was Michael Caine -- you don't get talking beavers and Michael Caine every day.
(And no, the double entrendre was not lost on her.)

Date: 2006-01-28 01:25 am (UTC)*laugh* very funny. I loved the movie personally. It totally rocked, even if it wasn't the 'best' filmed movie. It was still very well done. Will be interesting to see if they have any sequels lined up in the future...
