Dennis Miller is a Conservative Now?

Wow. I hadn't heard about this. I used to like him a lot, but I've seen a few commercials for this new CNBC show he has, and frankly, the commercials aren't even funny.

This article though--whoa. He says he's still pro-choice, not anti-gay marriage, but he's still labeling himself a conservative, because of his views on world policy. Wow. I'm just not sure what to think of that at all. Especially since he expresses it in the "I don't understand why people would think differently" way, which scares me out of anyone's mouth.

Yikes.

Dennis was one of the celebrity speakers at Arnold Schwarzenegger's little do after the gubernatorial debate during the recall election here in California. Mostly very mean-spirited jokes about "illegal" immigrants that had me fuming on the Press platform and ranting all the way home. It made me sick to my stomach. I'm not fond of political rallies, and I'm *really* not fond of conservative political rallies.

Wow. There's no way I could have stayed in the room had I been there. That kind of "humor" is just one of my major hot buttons. Grrrrr....
